Our standard will fee is $400, charged when the work is completed.

POWERS OF ATTORNEY

Powers of Attorney are $150 each and there are two in Ontario, one for property and one for personal care. (We also provide some direction with respect to “living wills”.)

For complex wills that involve things like trusts for dependents, multiple wills to deal with businesses, special provisions for the conservation of heirlooms or collections or copyright, fees vary depending on complexity.

ESTATES

We prepare estate administrator applications to the Ontario Superior Court and, for First Nations people living on reserve, to Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada. Fees generally are based on the value of the estate.

We can also assist with Estate Information Returns, passing of accounts, and estate litigation,

In some circumstances, we can assist executors with the process of estate administration and distribution of assets.

We have special rates for people on modest fixed incomes or social assistance.

And we make house calls.
